This is not a commercial website - Prices for tours and artisan products are very reasonable.
Please enquire when you contact them for the latest rates and prices.
If you would like to arrange a meal or accomodation you will need to notify them in advance, there are very few other food or lodging options nearby.
They are very rural and have community phones so they may need to return your call unless they are close by. Also be advised that their English is limited.
If you speak no Spanish and want a tour, there is a very good tour operator out of Dominical called
Dominical Surf Adventures:

Just one little comment to add - please do not barter for a lower price with the Boruca. They are proud artisans and their prices are wholesale at Boruca, direct from the artist and without any markup from a tourist store. I think it might offend them, their prices are extremely reasonable and half of what you would pay elsewhere if you are lucky enough to find them in a shop.
Thank you for your consideration and support of the Borucan Community.

Driving directions to Boruca
ONLY IN DRY WEATHER
1) From The InterAmericana coast highway heading south:
At Palmar Norte turn left, inland towards Buenos Aires.
It is 25kms - approx a 23 minute scenic drive.
Follow this road over 3 rivers, Rio Cana Blanca,Rio Disciplina and Rio Puerto Nuevo.
Slow down after the Puerto Nuevo bridge look for the left turn to Boruca, it is signposted.
The drive up to Boruca is probably best in a 4WD car other wise it will be slow going, it is bumpy and single lane a lot of the way. The road goes up the hill 8km - approx 20 minutes in a 4WD. Spectacular views from the ridge!
When you get to The Bar in Boruca directly in front of you as you enter the town.
Either :
Turn left and go down the hill a 100 metres or so past the police station to the museum and the co-operativa La Flor which is in a traditional palapa roofed building on your left parking to the right.
OR
Turn right go up the hill and take the first left by a bright green and purple house takes you directly to Lourdes's 'So Cagru' workshop, tour center and accommodations, also a traditional palapa roofed building straight in front of you. Park to the side of the road.
2) From The InterAmericana coast highway heading north:
At Palmar Norte turn right, inland towards Buenos Aires.
It is 25kms approx 23 minute scenic drive.
……….Follow the same directions as above.
It is pretty easy to find.
If it is raining there is another longer route, (the way the bus goes) that is accessed a few kms further up the main highway - this I have yet to do exact mileage for.
